Amy Korth is a formally trained and nationally registered dietitian and nutritionist whose work centers on public health, healthy communities, and obesity prevention. She has engaged in a broad range of prevention efforts, from educating consumers individually about healthy eating and active living to implementing policies, systems, and environmental change strategies at community and statewide levels to impact population health. A firm believer that effective health and well-being interventions require multiple and diverse stakeholders, she initiates and cultivates partnerships between local coalitions, schools, health departments, Extension programs, state-level agencies, universities, businesses, and nonprofit organizations. She has found lasting success in bringing evidence-based strategy and practice-based knowledge together in inclusive conversation with populations suffering the greatest health disparities. Amy holds a BS in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities and a MS in Human Nutrition from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
