April – Civic Health of Wisconsin Meet-Up

This event has passed.

@ 12:00 pm CDT - 1:30 pm CDT

For this month’s Civic Health of Wisconsin Meet-Up, our partners at Urban Rural Action will be facilitating an interactive workshop – Media, Manipulation, and Your Attention: Strategies in the Current Landscape. Join us to learn about strategies to identify and combat manipulative content online.

*Please note the April Meet-Up has been rescheduled to April 8 due to the Spring Election on April 1. The time has also been extended to 90 minutes to accommodate for the workshop.*

  • Recurring meetings will take place every first Tuesday of the month, 12-1pm (Central Time), on Zoom (see Zoom link and passcode below).
  • Given that this will be an open meeting, we will have some security measures in place for the Zoom sessions, including password protection (see Zoom information below). Once in the meeting, we will ask that all participants include their name and organization/affiliation in their Zoom name.
  • The meet-ups will have a standard meeting agenda, with rotating facilitators and a monthly discussion topic.
  • Please help us spread the word about these meet-ups by inviting your colleagues, friends, and community members. They can sign up using this brief form and will receive future communication about the meetings.
