2020 Annual Event | How-To Workshop: Fundraising Tactics

Join us for this session on Fundraising Tactics in Challenging and Uncertain Times with several Wisconsin-based fund development experts from the CommNS network.  This session will be facilitated by Steve Goldberg, Steve Goldberg Consulting, CommNS Advisory Board Member, and long-time contributor to the UW-Madison Fundraising and Development for Nonprofits Conference.  Panelists will share their tips and tactics for Fundraising in Challenging and Uncertain Times.  Background materials and resources will also be shared with participants for their ongoing work on funds development in unprecedented times.  Panelists include:

  • Tom Linfield, VP-Community Impact, Madison Community Foundation
  • Jill Pfeiffer, Development & Marketing Director, YWCA Madison
  • Jeff Burkhart, Executive Director, Literacy Network
  • Don Gray, Retired Vice President for Principal Gifts, University of Wisconsin Foundation, and Founder of the UW-Madison

As a part of this session, we are offering a crowd-sourced list of resources that may be helpful as organizations pursue their fundraising tactics in dual pandemics.  Please see that resource here.  We’ll be “crowd-sourcing” good articles and informational resources which relate to the session theme.  Feel free to add resources that you find valuable!
